Community Update: Slapton Village Community Shop - Assistant Manager Vacancy - Apply by 20th May 2022

Slapton Village Community Shop are currently recruiting for a Part-time Assistant Manager needed for our award-winning Community Shop, working with our team of over 25 volunteers. Minimum 20 hours per week. Competitive salary and hours by negotiation.

If you are a hard working team player, enthusiastic about all aspects of helping to manage and develop a village shop on behalf of the whole community, a good "people person" with excellent communication skills, ideally with experience of working in a retail environment but not essential, an awareness of food hygiene, and health and safety at work requirements, comfortable in being responsible for shop ordering and stock control and undertaking manual handling tasks, this could be an excellent role for you.

The role is fully supported by the Shop Management Committee.

  • Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
  • Starting Salary £12 per hour
  • COVID-19 considerations: Customers are requested to wear a face mask and sanitise hands.
